Runs in your browser — your text and files never leave your device.
Paste both texts to see which lines changed.
Paste the before and after versions of a text and the page marks every line: added, removed, or unchanged. Handy for contract edits, translations, configuration files and second drafts.
How to use it
- Paste the original text on the left and the changed text on the right.
- Read the marked-up list: added lines are highlighted, removed lines are struck through in red.
- Copy the difference as plain text if you want to paste it into an email.
Good to know
- The comparison is line by line, so a small edit inside a long line shows that whole line as changed.
- Each side is limited to 800 lines, which keeps the comparison instant.

Frequently asked questions
Does it find changes inside a line?
It compares line by line. If one word changes inside a long line, that line appears as removed and re-added.
Is there a limit on how much I can compare?
800 lines per side. Beyond that the page asks you to compare in smaller parts so the browser stays responsive.
